Around the world Chinese communities celebrated the end of the lunar calendar and the beginning of a New Year. The Year of the Dragon began Monday January 23, 2012. The year of the dragon is said to be a very prosperous year for the people of China. It is said that anyone born in this year will be healthy, wealthy, and wise.
The color of Water in Five Elements system is related to Black. Therefore we can say 2012 is a Black Dragon, Water Dragon or Black Water Dragon year.
