Of all the flowers, the full bloomed double Dahlia is my favourite. Every season this beautiful flowers blossoms in my garden and satisfies my photographic adventures on these. Dahlia is a perennial plant which is native to Central America, Mexico and Colombia.
There are 36 known verities of Dahlia. While these have ornamental value in the home gardens, it is also used for food.

And one important information: Dahlia is named after an 18th century Swedish botanist Andres Dahl.
