On the streets where we live

Street photography is an art and not many people do it. Instead we generally focus on eye catching buildings and places - and forget the streets where ordinary people live. Herein under is a collection of photos taken from the streets we live, but ignore to capture the beauty of how ordinary people live, laugh and carry on despite poverty and trying tirelessly to make both ends meet.

These photos are courtesy Tahir Iqbal, an emerging photographer who has an eye to capture the usual and the unusual too. I came across his photos when he contributed to my Flickr group "Jalalspages Pakistan" and with due permission I am sharing these with my viewers.

I earlier on shared Tahir Iqbal's photos with the caption of "Railway signs we grew up with." His collection of photos is very vast, which I will keep sharing in future as well.
