Pakistan beat England and marches into ICC Champions Trophy Final

The winning embrace: Hafeez and Babar

It was a great day at Cardiff for Pakistan when it smashed the hosts' batting order line and restrict them to just 211 runs in 49.5 overs in the first semi final of ICC Champions Trophy being played in England. Bairstow scored 43 and Root 46.

Batting first, the English batting line miserably crumbled against superb bowling of Pakistani bowlers. Hassan took three wickets, while Junaid and Raees two wickets each.

Like their batsmen, the bowlers too could not contain Pakistani batsmen who played superbly with two half centuries of Azhar and Fakhar. Azhar scored 76 while Fakhar scored 56. Pakistan won by 8 wickets.

Hassan with 10 wickets in total tops the bowlers for the Golden Ball Award. Pakistan will face winner of second semi final (India vs Bangladesh) being played on 15 June.
