Though it is not the Father's Day, but I just found the poster below on Facebook that took me back many many years beck in my memory lane - the days when I was growing.
Rather I would say being 'grown into being a man.' And I remembered my father who reared me with all the knowledge he had to be a man.
He was always there when I needed him, though he was rough and tough and a difficult man, but one really needed to understand and feel the enormous love he had not for me but all my siblings. And how too true that anyone can be your father, but it takes someone special to be a dad.
Yes - he was something special. He was my Dad. I know he is waiting there for me up in the heavens.
I share here a few comments that my well wishers left on Facebook - for which am truly grateful:
Mehwish Agha: wahhh roub ho to aisa .....
Ghazala Moazzam: graceful.
